The Upside for Nancy

You've probably thought to yourself, wow, Nancy is smart, beautiful, witty, amiable, accomplished.....why did Nancy marry him?  

I see your point.

But then again, I bring some pretty fantastic attributes to this partnership. Here's just a quick sample of the color I add to her days.

10 Great Things About Being Married to Me: 2013

1. Bring home hotel soaps and fuse them into one big bar

2. Before reading a magazine, rip out all the ads

3.  Used paperbacks!

4. Economize by using cheap razor for first pass and Fusion Phantom for touch-up

5. Made optometrist to put new lenses into frames from dollar store

6. Happy renditions of Bonanza theme (yes, there are lyrics)

7. Enliven soccer broadcasts by chanting "Go Nederlanders Go!"

8. Browbeat children getting family to church on time 

9. Torture Starbucks baristas by insisting on small, medium or large

10. Never pass up a Ben Stiller movie.

Happy Anniversary, Nancy!  I will try to do 11 worthy things this year to offset the above.
